Logan Completes 5-Day Charity Walk

Logan just past the halfway mark on his 80-mile charity walk

Congratulations to Logan Pope, who walked from Bridgnorth to Liverpool in a bid to raise money for charity at the start of last month.

The Year 9 student, together with his mum Pippa, completed the 80-mile route in just five days and encountered all sorts along the way.

They met some wonderful people, followed the Shropshire Union Canal for two days, experienced terrifying roads with cars going at 60 miles an hour, and suffered from a few painful blisters on their feet.

Despite the challenges, the pair kept going with the intention of raising as much money as possible for the Honeysuckle Baby Bereavement Service at Liverpool Women’s Hospital and the Royal National Institute of Blind People.

Logan began fundraising in 2014, aged just six, and he’s gone on to do something every year since. His 2022 campaign was certainly the most ambitious but it was for two charities close to his heart.

He chose the Honeysuckle Service in memory of two precious babies, Isla and Charlie, and RNIB for all the support the charity has given his mum on her sight loss journey.

Congratulations to Logan and Pippa on their 80-mile ‘wander’, which has raised just over £1500 so far.
