About Friends of BES
Joining Friends of BES, the Bridgnorth Endowed Parents, Teachers and Friends Association, is a great way to get more involved in our thriving school community.
Parents and carers of pupils currently attending Bridgnorth Endowed School, along with all staff, are automatically members of the PTFA. Each year, the members elect a committee to coordinate activities and oversee its day-to-day running.
What we do
Fostering understanding and good social relationships amongst parents, and between parents and staff, is an important part of the PTA’s work. However, its main aim is to raise valuable funds for the school by organising a range of exciting events and other fundraising activities.
Where the money goes
Over the years we have raised many thousands of pounds, which have been spent on providing equipment and improving facilities. Previous projects financed by the PTFA have included, a new minibus with garage, IT equipment, musical instruments, televisions, outdoor pursuits equipment, and improvements in many other departmental areas.
