Mission
Computer science is about understanding how computers work, this includes writing code and developing computational skills.
Aims
Computer Science focuses on developing problem-solving skills, an essential skill for life. Students will learn the study of computational concepts that are fundamental to most programming languages.
Students will demonstrate a range of problem-solving techniques by designing algorithms using flow charts and pseudo code, testing and debugging of code. They will learn how to convert between decimal and hexadecimal as well as binary and hexadecimal.
The skills acquired will equip them to find the solutions for small and complex problems using a programming language.
