About the Bridgnorth Endowed School Parent Teacher Association
The Bridgnorth Endowed Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a great way to get more involved in our thriving school community.
Parents, guardians and carers of pupils currently attending Bridgnorth Endowed School and all staff, are automatically members of the PTA. Each year, the members elect a committee to oversee the day-to-day running of the PTA and to coordinate its activities.
What we do
Fostering understanding and good social relationships amongst parents, and between parents and staff, is an important part of the PTA’s work. However, our main aim is to raise valuable funds for the school by organising a range of exciting events and other fundraising activities.
Where the money goes
Over the years we have raised many thousands of pounds, which have been spent on providing equipment and improving facilities. Recent projects financed by the PTA have included, a new minibus with garage, IT equipment, musical instruments, televisions, outdoor pursuits equipment, and improvements in many other departmental areas.
The PTA is always seeking fresh ideas and new energy. Please support its activities, and, if possible, consider becoming a member of the committee – you will be made very welcome.
