Isabelle Crann’s winning ‘lovebirds by moonlight’ card design<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

The winner of this year\u2019s Bridgnorth Endowed Valentine\u2019s Card Competition has been announced as Isabelle Crann from Year 7, for her beautifully hand-painted ‘lovebirds by moonlight’ design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Freya Southall (7SC) came second with her highly topical ‘positively in love with you’ card, which featured a Covid lateral flow test, and Martha Bradburn (8IN) was given third place for her striking ‘heart<\/em> air balloons’ creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members of the BES Creative Arts Department, who were invited to judge the competition, commented: \u201cWe’ve had some fantastic entries in this year but we’d particularly like to congratulate Isabelle on her unique design which demonstrated excellent painting skills.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the high standard of entries submitted, the decision was taken to put this special range of Valentine’s Day eCards on sale with all of the funds raised going to charity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winners have each received a prize and every student who submitted a design has been awarded house points. Well done to everyone who took part!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
