We call him her ‘interpreter of life’.”

“We’re so proud of him and he definitely deserves this award as he has a big heart and is always thinking of others despite his own struggles.”

Logan also finds the time to volunteer at a local youth club and every year, since the age of 7, he has come up with a new fundraising project.

Back in March 2020, Logan completed a two-hour pianothon and raised over £500 playing all sorts of tunes, from the Entertainer to Land of Hope and Glory, and plenty of songs from the hit musical Les Misérables.

Logan presenting his cheque to Little Rascals (left to right): Chris Bebb who works for Little Rascals, and the founders of the charity Dave Edwards (who played for Wolves and Shrewsbury Town) and Ben Wooton.

The money went to the Little Rascals Foundation – a Shropshire-based charity that supports children with disabilities and their families, and a cause that’s close to Logan’s heart.

About the charity, Pippa said: “Little Rascals is a fabulous organisation that provides practical support for children with special educational needs, and an ear for their parents. They just ‘get it’ which is crucial for families like ours.”

This year, Logan organised a fundraiser where people could request a song for a donation, and he then played their song choice on the piano.

A keen piano player whose piano was on its last legs, he raised money for a new digital piano and still managed to donate £200 to Little Rascals.

Well done to Logan on his fantastic achievements.

We’re delighted to share the news that a second Bridgnorth Endowed School pupil was presented with a Young Good Citizen award by West Mercia Police last Thursday evening.
