Art enthusiasts from Years 7 to 9 are eagerly waiting to hear if their artwork will be picked to appear on an Aldi lorry, as part of a nationwide competition to mark next month\u2019s Tokyo Olympics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The supermarket giant, in partnership with Team GB, called on young people aged between five and 14 to get creative and design a lorry that celebrates everything great about fresh, healthy food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the latest initiative in the successful \u2018Get Set to Eat Fresh\u2019 programme that aims to inspire young people to build their understanding and love of eating well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art teacher, Mrs Rhodes, who submitted 27 entries from Bridgnorth Endowed, said: \u201cThe students have created some fantastic designs that showcase healthy food in a colourful, eye-catching and unique way.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt’s really exciting to think that the winning designs will be seen on an Aldi lorry delivering food and drink to stores up and down the country.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The closing date for the competition is today and the two winners will be notified at the end of August. Good luck to all of our students who entered!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
