Archie Bradburn, from Year 9, and his mum Kelly have set off on a quest to jog 50 miles in March to raise funds for stillbirth and neonatal death charity, Sands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mother and son have already completed 16 miles and are hoping to raise \u00a3400 to help support families affected by the loss of a baby \u2013 a cause that\u2019s very close to their hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Archie was born, he defied all the odds to survive a rare hospital procedure after his mum went into premature labour and very sadly lost his twin brother.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mum, Kelly, explained: \u201cBack in 2007, Archie was born and featured globally as a medical miracle.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I was pregnant with twins and went into labour at 21 weeks. Archie\u2019s brother was born too soon, but I carried Archie full term thanks to the wonderful professionals at Russells Hall Hospital.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ‘Jog 50 Miles in March’ campaign is to support the incredible work carried out by Sands, which helps anyone affected by the death of a baby, works to improve bereavement care and funds research to save babies\u2019 lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
