Head of Rowley House, Mr Chase, at this week’s video address to BES students<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Bridgnorth Endowed is pleased to announce two new Heads of House to join Mr Middleton who continues as leader of Hardwicke for the fifteenth year running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Computer Science teacher, Mr Akhtar, takes up the prized mantle for Washbrook and PE teacher, Mr Chase, heads up reigning house champions, Rowley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About his new role, Mr Chase said: \u201cI\u2019m really privileged and honoured to have been asked to become Head of Rowley House, and I\u2019m so proud that during lockdown we managed to secure the House Cup.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs defending champions, I urge pupils to continue with their hard work and efforts by handing in homework, being on time and taking pride in how they’re perceived in the community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Akhtar commented: \u201cI\u2019ve been teaching at this fantastic school for 12 years and I\u2019m immensely proud of now taking on the responsibility of being Head of House.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI believe that building strong relationships between teachers and students is something that is extremely important and I will be there to support everyone in Washbrook.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a recent video address to students, the three clearly have plenty of plans for their houses and this year\u2019s competition promises to be exciting and hard-fought, despite the current restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Head of Hardwicke, Mr Middleton, concluded: \u201cWe\u2019ve got a very challenging year ahead of us, so we need to work hard, be considerate and be compassionate with each other. In that way, we\u2019ll do really well.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First on the to-do list has been for each leader to select their House Captains, who will go on to organise events, work on a variety of initiatives and ensure that the student voice is well-represented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
