After only a year in post, she stepped up and became head of sixth form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The care and support she gave the sixth formers was\noutstanding. She always worked hard to support all pupils both academically and\nin their future plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2012\/13, Julie also became head of Rowley House, and for several years successfully managed both roles with ease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Long-term colleague, Mrs Tristham, commented: \u201cAlways\nthoroughly prepared and meticulous in her detail, Julie has worked with many\ncolleagues at BES and been an integral part of the school.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cShe is flexible and accommodating, which is reflected in the\ndepartments she has supported and the many subjects she has taught.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWilling to take on any challenge, Julie has organised and supported numerous trips, residentials and school events.
