Although distance learning has its limitations for typical\nPE lessons, this has not stopped Bridgnorth Endowed School sports teachers from\nsetting its students some interesting challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For each PE lesson, students are given a range of tasks, which include researching a fitness test related to the activity they’re focusing on and then carrying out the test themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to this, the students have a specially designed exercise programme they need to do each week in order to monitor their fitness levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some BES pupils are also taking on their own personal challenges, such as Sam Lewis who completed a marathon while in lockdown. He ran 26.2 miles in 26 days and received a special NHS medal. Well done Sam!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
