Author Tess James-Mackey, who writes gripping thrillers for young adults<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

We’re thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for our Year 8 and Year 9 students next week. On Wednesday, we will be welcoming Shropshire-born author Tess James-Mackey to school for a special visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tess is an accomplished and highly talented writer, best known for her compelling young adult thrillers. Her powerful storytelling and ability to create vivid, relatable characters have made her books a firm favourite with readers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During her visit, students will gain a valuable insight into the world of writing, exploring her creative journey and discovering where she finds inspiration for her stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her latest novel, Better Off Dead<\/em>, was published in March, following the success of You Wouldn\u2019t Catch Me Dead<\/em> and Someone is Watching You<\/em> \u2013 three gripping thrillers that are perfect for students who enjoy fast-paced, page-turning stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This exciting event has been organised by Booka Bookshop<\/strong><\/a>, whose school visits are designed to spark a love of reading and writing by bringing authors and stories to life in a fresh and engaging way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
