Bridgnorth Endowed School is celebrating another year of academic excellence and personal triumphs as students collected an impressive set of GCSE results earlier today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

High grades were achieved across a wide range of subjects, with English and Maths pass rates climbing even higher than last year \u2013 a reflection of the school\u2019s continued commitment to raising aspirations and achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Class of 2025 is now moving on to an exciting variety of next steps, securing places at leading destinations such as Shrewsbury Colleges Group, King Edward\u2019s in Stourbridge and Telford College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among this year\u2019s standout students was Mia Wain, who achieved an incredible five Grade 9s, two Grade 8s and two Grade 7s. She is heading to Shrewsbury College to study A Levels in English Language, Criminology and Politics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special congratulations also go to Matthew Brown, who scored top marks with four Grade 9s, one Grade 8 and three Grade 7s. He will go on to study A Levels in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths at King Edward\u2019s College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twin sisters Daisy and Poppy Green are celebrating double exam success after both achieving fantastic results and securing places to study A Levels at King Edward\u2019s. Joining them at the prestigious college in Stourbridge is Isobel Onions, whose strong grades will help her pursue her ambition of a career in medicine, and classmate George King, who is celebrating great results and looking forward to studying A Level Maths, Chemistry and History.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other inspiring stories include Patrick Lewis, who is preparing to join the Army with a pathway into Law, and Charlotte Cotterill, who has secured a highly sought-after place at Birmingham Ormiston Academy (BOA) to study Music. Creative flair also shone through in Gabriel Quick, who earned a Grade 9 in Art alongside his other successes. He will go on to study a Level 3 BTEC in Fashion, Clothing and Textile Design at Matthew Boulton College in Birmingham with the aim of building a career in the fashion industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apprenticeships continue to be popular and this year\u2019s cohort has secured some great opportunities. Nicky Jack is preparing to begin a heavy vehicle apprenticeship at DAF Trucks, while Neve Crann will take up a specialist cricket apprenticeship. Meanwhile, a number of students are opting for T Levels, such as Luke Clayworth, who will study Electrical\/Electronic Engineering, and Henry Walker, who will take the Surveying, Planning and Design course \u2013 both at Shrewsbury College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Headteacher Mr Michael Penn commented: \u201cWe are delighted with this year\u2019s results and could not be prouder of our students. Their hard work, determination and resilience have been outstanding, and I am confident they leave us ready to thrive in the future. A huge thank you also goes to our dedicated teachers, support staff and parents, whose encouragement has been vital to our students\u2019 success. We wish all of our leavers every success as they move on to the next chapter of their journey.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
