Bridgnorth Endowed is celebrating a year of outstanding academic achievements and personal success stories with a strong set of GCSE exam results, which came out earlier today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top grades were gained across the board and, in particular, the pass rate in English and Maths saw a 10% increase on last year\u2019s figure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students from the class of 2024 have secured places on a wide range of exciting courses at popular destinations, including King Edward\u2019s in Stourbridge, Shrewsbury Colleges Group, Thomas Telford Sixth Form and Telford College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well done to star student, Dewi Arch, who achieved an impressive eight Grade 9s and one Grade 8, and is heading to King Edward\u2019s to study A Levels in Chemistry, Geography and Law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special congratulations also go to Molly O\u2019Gara, who scored top marks with three Grade 9s, three Grade 8s and three Grade 7s, and will go on to study A Levels in Maths and Science at Thomas Telford.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joshua Sykes received an exceptional set of results and is off to King Edward\u2019s to do A Level Maths, Chemistry, and Geography, while classmate Amelie Maynard achieved top grades including three 9s and will study A Levels at Shrewsbury College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ruby McDermott\u2019s strong grades, particularly in Science and Maths, see her go to Stafford College to study A Levels with the aim of going into medicine, and Molly Rois\u2019s exam success will take her to King Edward\u2019s to study A Levels in Law, Politics and Aviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other inspiring stories include Leo Davies, Harry Lewis, Tom Whitehouse and Taylor Kirkham, who are all set to join the RAF, and Maddie Iddles, who has secured a highly sought-after place at Birmingham\u2019s BOA Academy to study Dance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maisy Minifie Jennings, hoping for a career in Forensic Psychology, will study Law, Psychology and Criminology at Shrewsbury College, and Lily Proctor will be embarking on the brand-new Level 3 Ignite Musical Theatre Diploma at Kidderminster College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Headteacher, Mr Michael Penn, comments: \u201cWe are delighted with these results and extremely proud of our students. This wonderful group of young people embody the school\u2019s ethos of aspiring to achieve and I am confident they leave us having developed the qualities needed to succeed in life after school.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am very grateful to our dedicated teachers, staff and parents who have enabled these students to thrive, and we all wish them the very best for their bright futures.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
