Yesterday afternoon, a mixed team of Year 7 and 8 students headed to Bridgnorth Rugby Club’s Swancote ground to take part in a Rugby Festival attended by five schools from the local area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although playing together for the very first time, the Bridgnorth Endowed U13 rugby squad were equally impressive in both attack and defence in all their matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PE teacher, Mr McAdam, commented: \u201cThe team scored some amazing team tries, working the ball through lots of hands, from one side of the pitch to the other, to eventually cross the line.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI was extremely proud of the boys as they, not only played well, but were also very respectful to the opposition and officials in charge, maintaining the key values of rugby.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
