Last Tuesday, English literature students from Bridgnorth Endowed’s Sixth Form visited the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon for the chance to experience the Bard’s work first hand.

The Year 12 A-Level students, joined by a group of Year 13s that recently left school, were taken to watch a superb RSC production of Measure for Measure.

Head of English and Languages, Mr Butler, comments: “It was a mesmerising performance and the students are now ardent theatre fans and doubly resolved in their study of the play.”

“It was also a fitting final trip with some amazing Year 13 students who have tackled their Shakespeare studies with great aplomb.”

“A big thank you to Mr Clayton, who organised the trip and drove us all the way to Stratford.”
