Bridgnorth Endowed Hosts Post-16 Event

Bridgnorth Endowed School opened its doors to further education and training providers for a Post-16 Information Evening held last Thursday.

The event, which saw a high turnout, gave Year 10 and 11 pupils and parents the chance to chat to representatives from colleges, school sixth forms and training organisations about the opportunities available to them after GCSE.

BES Careers Leader, Miss Edwards, said: “The event was a great success and we hope our pupils found it helpful as they make decisions about their choices for the future.”

“They were able to explore various options, not only in terms of where to study, but also whether they should follow an A Level, T Level, BTEC or apprenticeship pathway.”

Many thanks to the following post-16 providers who attended the event:

  • Shrewsbury Colleges Group
  • King Edward IV College, Stourbridge
  • Telford College
  • Ludlow College
  • Bewdley College
  • Kidderminster College
  • William Brookes School
  • In-Comm Training Services
  • Shrewsbury High School Sixth Form
