A Level and GCSE certificates for exams taken this summer are now ready for collection.
Ideally, students are asked to collect them in person from our Examinations Officer, Miss Minifie, between 8.30am and 3.00pm, Monday to Thursday.
Alternatively, you are able to nominate someone else to pick them up on your behalf but you must provide them with a note of authorisation that they will need to bring along, naming them and signed by yourself.
This person will also need to bring some photo ID, for example, their driving licence or passport. Certificates belong to the student and we are not permitted to give them to a third party without written consent.
We are only obliged to hold certificates for 12 months, therefore it is your responsibility to collect them before December 2020. You will require them for college applications and job interviews in the future.
Once collected, certificates should be kept safe as there is a non-refundable fee of approximately £40-£50 to replace them and you would need to apply directly to each exam board. Please note that exam boards cannot provide full replacement certificates for GCSEs and A levels but are able to send a ‘certified statement of results’ instead.
