The Board of Trustees is vital to a school’s success as it helps with strategy, works in partnership with the Headteacher and ensures that the budget is properly managed.
Although unpaid, the trustees at Bridgnorth Endowed School take their roles seriously and attend a minimum of two meetings of the full Trust Board per term.
Each trustee is also a member of at least one sub-committee, all of which meet once a term or more. Meetings are normally held in the early evenings.
For effective continuity, the term of office is four years and members are either elected or nominated, as follows:
- 5 Members, 1 of whom is Chair of Trustees, as elected by Trustees
- 9 Trustees appointed under Article 50, to include the Headteacher
- 2 elected Parent Trustees
