Bridgnorth Endowed School Association

Welcome

Welcome to the BESA section of the Bridgnorth Endowed School website.

I would first like to inform you of some background information regarding the Bridgnorth Endowed School Association. All parents are automatically members of our School Association. There is no subscription. The Association exists in part to support the school with donations of equipment and materials which are not normally provided through Local Authority funds. Very generous donations over the past few years have financed major items of expenditure, for example a new minibus and its garage, IT equipment, musical instruments, televisions, outdoor pursuits equipment and improvements in many other departmental areas. Equally important is the Association's work in fostering understanding and good social relationships among parents and between parents and staff. To this end social events of many kinds are held, as well as information evenings on topics of educational interest.

The Association is constantly seeking new ideas and new energy. Please support its activities, and, if possible, consider becoming a member of the Association's Committee. You will be made very welcome.

This is a subscribed quarterly draw with total prizes currently of at least £70 per draw - the more participants the greater the prize fund. All that is needed is an annual contribution of £12.00 from subscribers.

The profits go to paying for the lease on the school mini buses and preparing for a new one in the future.  Also BESA are looking to support the Creative Arts Dept this year and next, and have already provided a digital camera for use by staff and students.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the 120 club please contact Jill Pardoe on the school telephone number.
