The students spent the whole day together in lessons to give the French students a flavour of school life in England. They took part in a variety of lessons, with some testing their English to the full by taking part in Shakespeare sketches!

When asked to comment on the differences between the two schools, the French said that the Endowed was a very ‘colourful’ school where students got to work much more in groups and with computers. They didn’t, however, like the uniform and thought there was not nearly enough time to eat! Our colleagues in France thought the day would certainly rank as the highlight of their trip thanks to their excellent student hosts who, for their part, also seemed to have a really good day.
