Bridgnorth Endowed School Association
Welcome
Welcome to the BESA link of the Bridgnorth Endowed School website. I would first like to inform you of some background information regarding the Bridgnorth Endowed School Association. All parents are automatically members of our School Association. There is no subscription. The Association exists in part to support the school with donations of equipment and materials which are not normally provided through Local Authority funds.
Very generous donations over the past few years have financed major items of expenditure, for example a new minibus and its garage, IT equipment, musical instruments, televisions, outdoor pursuits equipment and improvements in many other departmental areas.
Equally important is the Association's work in fostering understanding and good social relationships among parents and between parents and staff. To this end social events of many kinds are held, as well as information evenings on topics of educational interest.
The Association is constantly seeking new ideas and new energy.
Please support its activities, and, if possible, consider becoming a member of the Association's Committee.
You will be made very welcome.
Committee officers for this year have been elected:
Chair Person : Amanda Johnson
Vice Chair: Marie Hatton
Secretary : Alex Preston
Treasurer : Fran Spicer
If you feel you would wish to support the school in other ways, for example through business links or by offering personal expertise or direct help, please let us know.
